Retro Video Game Collecting

Because every game is eventually retro.

Posted on 8 May, 2016 is the creation of James Jackson. He owns more than 800 games, mostly on Nintendo systems. His collection includes the original Nintendo Entertainment System he received for Christmas in 1987, as well as his still-functioning Super NES given as a gift six years later.

When he’s not gaming, playing with his dog Emmy, or working on this website, JJ is a free-lance producer for NBC News. He can be harassed on Twitter at @Retro_NVC or on our Facebook page.

Website maintenance, design consulting, and other behind-the-scenes work is provided by Melissa B., who does not like video games but works tirelessly to improve this site and other projects with JJ.
